The Winter Warm Hub has been a tremendous success thanks to the funding received from Cumberland Council, Voluntary Action for Cumbria and the Drigg & Carleton Community Fund, and not least thanks to the volunteers from the community and from NWS who all helped to make it work.
The Drigg & Carleton Parish Council is planning to continue the social element of the the Hub and continue over the summer as a Wellbeing Hub.
Would parishioners be interested in attending for tea / coffee / cake and a chat with local friends?
The Summer Wellbeing Hub will begin on 3rd May offering hot drinks and snacks (but no hot soup!).
Volunteers will attend in a rota to serve drinks and manage the Hub.
If the Summer Wellbeing Hub is well attended, it will continue over the summer.
