A595 HOLMROOK TO MUNCASTER CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING WORKS
Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on the A595 Holmrook to Muncaster.
The works will commence on Monday 30th September 2024 for a period of up to 7 weeks, subject to prevailing weather and site
conditions.
The works will be carried out between 7 pm and 5 am Monday to Saturday.
Phase 1 – Holmrook to Ravenglass junction – 30th September – 25th October
Phase 2 – Ravenglass Junction to Muncaster Castle – 4 h November – 12th November
Phase 3 – Holmrook and Drigg Junction – 13th November – 19th November
Please note no works will be taking place during the October half term from 28th October to 3rd November.
The works will be carried out under a formal road closure each night and two-way traffic lights during the day.
Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.
Between the hours of 7 pm to 10 pm vehicles will be convoyed through the site.
