Annual Parish Meeting 2024

The Drigg & Carleton Annual Parish Meeting 2024 will be held at Drigg Village Hall on Thursday 16th May between 7.00pm and 8.30 pm.

The meeting will start with a talk and presentation, by David Simpson, of photos taken by Mary Fair in the early 20th century.  Mary Fair moved to Eskdale in 1903 and was a keen photographer.
Her pictures captured local events and personalities, and remain a record of country life a hundred years ago.  We will hear of her life and work in the West Lakes and abroad.

Drigg & Carleton Parish Council will give a report of its activities in 2023-24.

The Drigg & Carleton Community Fund will also give a report on its work and where it has supported and benefitted the residents of Drigg & Carleton in 2023-24.
