Warning!
Cold callers are operating in Drigg and local villages trying to sell alarm systems called MediaAlarm 24/7 and asking for people to give their banking details.
The number they are using is: 020 3318 0021
These people are very aggressive using high pressure sales tactics.
Remember:
NEVER give your bank details to strangers over the phone, especially your PIN number.
Don’t be pressured into any kind of deal, even if it sounds too good to be true.
If you receive a call from anyone bullying you to give your banking details, note their number and report them to the Police.
Ideally use a phone which blocks callers until they give their name before being connected.
