Public Access Defribulators for Drigg & Carleton Parish

Public Access Defribrillators

The Public Access Defribillators (PAD) are located outside Drigg Village Hall, at Saltcoats Caravan Park and at Holmrook Services Station.

In case of an emergency requiring a defribillator, the procedure is: Call 999, ask for an Ambulance, the NWAS operator will give you an access code which will allow you, or someone giving help, to open the cabinet andcollect the defribillator. Once the defribrillator is switched on it gives verbal instructions and will only activate if the casualty has cardiac arrest.

Your recycling and waste calendar

We no longer send out printed card waste calendars to every home.

Everyone’s calendar can now be found quickly and easily on our website, <> .

This means your calendar is printable, portable and always right up to date. It’s also much kinder to the environment, and represents better value for money.

If you do not have access to the internet, and you need a printed copy of the calendar, please contact us on 01946 598300.
