A595 Road Closure: Drigg Junction to Fell Lane – 30th Sept 2024 – 15th November 2024

NB: no works to take place during October half term

A temporary road closure and temporary speed restriction has been put in place to allow Cumberland Council to carry out highway works which are expected to commence 30th September until 15th November 2024 – anticipated to take 47 days to complete.

Closure Location: A595 Holmrook, from its junction with the B5344, extending in an overall southerly direction for approx. 4.8km.

Temporary 30 mph location: A595 Holmrook, from its junction with the B5344, extending in an overall southerly direction for approx. 4.8 km.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the A595, A5092, A590, M6 and A66 and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
